Mims Classical Country Clothing is an Australian owned family enterprise dedicated to producing high quality all Australian made Jackets for men and women, mostly in natural fibres primarily in wool both for day and evening wear.

Location
The Company is based near Hamilton in Western Victoria.  The city of Hamilton is located some 280 kilometres from Melbourne and approximately 500 kilometres from Adelaide.

The Hamilton district is renowned for producing some of the finest wool in Australia.  Mims is well placed to take advantage of the excellent resource base that has been developed to complement the woollen industry and associated manufacturing generally.

Staff
Mims employs a dedicated and efficient workforce using the latest equipment and techniques.  It is the Company’s policy that ALL production will be carried out in the Hamilton district, thereby assisting the rural economy as much as possible.  Mims is proud to be Australian owned and off shore manufacturing falls short of it’s philosophy.

Quality control is a vital ingredient of the production process and each garment is rigorously inspected upon completion.  Remotely located overseas production facilities make this so much more difficult to administer.

The range for 2008/09
In addition to the traditional range of quilted sleeved and sleeveless jackets, as well as our highly successful Ski waterproof Jackets, Mims has introduced a brand new range of beautifil Silk Reversible, Sleeved and Sleeveless jackets together with a brand new Wool/Cashmere Cape, to complement this year's collection.
